Hi and welcome to Sparkly & Sweet! 

My name is Aileen, and I started this blog to share the sparkle and the sweetness of married and family life. My husband and I are Marylanders who moved to Raleigh, North Carolina to try out the southern lifestyle. 

We became parents to our baby CHP in February 2015!

We have a sweet six-year-old English setter/lab mix named Aida. She loves bones, treats, walks, and cheers on her Redskins with her daddy. 

I'm a pediatric ICU nurse by day and night, but outside of work I'm obsessed with Pure Barre, traveling, blogging, and hosting parties for family and friends.
